Accomodation is often in more modern style buildings, but they have been designed and decorated with tradition in mind. They range in price from moderate to expensive. Sizes of hotels in the area is also varied, from some lovely small hotels, to quite large ones.
The town itself does not have great beaches, but there are plenty of boats and buses that run to nearby beaches throughout the day. Kalkan does have a lot of wonderful restaurants, many of them open air with spectacular views of the lush green of the forest and beautiful blue of the bay.
This is an ideal place for those wanting to getaway from it all and have a very relaxing and peaceful holiday, surrounded by some of Turkeys most attractive scenery. |
